FAIR OF the WINES OF SAINT POURCAIN February 27th and 28th 2010

 

Traditional Fair of the Wines of Saint-Pourçain will be held February 27th and 28th, close to the Market hall of the wine city.

 

We will present to this occasion our best fermented AOC. It should be noted that our wines will take part in the ritual contest of the wines.

 

The results will be known in a few days.

 

 

OUR VINE TODAY:

The size is quite advanced today. We continue work of sarmentage: to leave wood, to make them burn…

 

For the amateurs of barbecue, do not hesitate to visit us: the vine shoots of vine scent with wonder the grills estival!

 

We then will carry out the maintenance of the wires, replacement of the broken stakes.:

 

SAINT-POURCAIN OBTAINS FINALLY THE AOC!

 

May 28th, 2009 will remain in annals of the history of the vineyard.

 

Indeed, it is precisely this day that the National committee of the National institute of the Labels of origin validated the specifications proposed by the whole of the wine growers of our vineyard.

 

The INAO thus ratified the accession of the vineyard of Saint-Pourçain in AOC: one awaited that since 1982!

 

Harvest 2009 will be thus the first of the history of Saint-Pourçain to be marked so much coveted.
